About Us
Inspired by the spirit of adventure and the comfort of coming home, Tailwind Tavern was born on the Hopedale airstrip. With planes coming and going right outside, an aviation theme was a natural fit, and the name Tailwind Tavern captured the vibe we wanted: fun, warm, and optimistic. A tailwind is the wind at your back that carries you home, and that is the spirit behind our biplane logo and the Welcome Home on our sign.
At heart, we are a neighborhood bar and grill: hearty food off the grill, local craft beer, and signature cocktails named for the skies. Join us for trivia on Tuesdays, live music on the weekends, or a relaxed meal with friends and family.
Whether you have been coming for years or just landed, you are always Welcome Home.
